About Bityx
Founded on Conviction, Built on Data
Bityx was founded in 2019 by a team of former Wall Street quantitative analysts, blockchain engineers, and investigative financial journalists who recognized a fundamental gap in the information landscape: institutional-grade blockchain analytics were inaccessible to the majority of market participants. While hedge funds and prime brokers leveraged proprietary on-chain intelligence to generate alpha, retail investors and even sophisticated family offices were navigating the most volatile asset class in history with inadequate data.
We set out to change that. From a 400-square-foot office in Wilmington, Delaware, our founding team of six began aggregating and normalizing data from 14 different blockchain networks, building proprietary heuristics for entity classification, and constructing the sentiment composite index that would later become our flagship Market Sentiment Gauge — now cited by Bloomberg Intelligence in their quarterly digital assets reports.
Our Editorial Independence
Bityx maintains a strict firewall between its editorial team and commercial operations. We do not accept sponsored content framed as editorial, do not receive compensation for token coverage, and do not participate in advisory arrangements with any blockchain project we cover. Our funding comes exclusively from subscription revenue and institutional data licensing agreements.
Every analysis published on Bityx undergoes a three-layer review process: quantitative verification by our data science team, contextual review by a senior analyst, and final editorial sign-off from our Editor-in-Chief. We publish corrections prominently and maintain an auditable record of all forecast accuracy metrics.
Scale & Impact
Today, Bityx serves over 127,000 daily newsletter subscribers across 94 countries, maintains data licensing relationships with 17 institutional clients managing over $2.1 trillion in combined assets, and operates a real-time analytics API accessed by more than 3,400 developers building the next generation of financial infrastructure.
